Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SceneLore (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who operates this service

The Service is operated by an individual freelancer registered in the Czech Republic, acting in the course of business (“we”, “us”, “our”).

This is not a company, platform marketplace, or hosting service.

Contact details are provided at the end of these Terms.

2. What the Service does

SceneLore allows users to:

  • upload a single image,
  • generate a cinematic sequence of AI-generated images,
  • optionally generate a short video based on selected frames.

The Service is a generation-and-download tool only.

We do not provide storage, galleries, or long-term access to generated assets.

3. Eligibility and access

You may use the Service only if:

  • you are at least 18 years old, and
  • you are legally allowed to enter into binding agreements.

Access requires:

  • email-based authentication (magic link),
  • a valid user account.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access at any time if:

  • these Terms are violated,
  • required by law,
  • misuse or abuse is detected.

4. User inputs and responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • all images you upload,
  • ensuring you have all necessary rights, permissions, and consents,
  • compliance with applicable laws (copyright, privacy, likeness, etc.).

You must not upload content that:

  • infringes intellectual property rights,
  • violates privacy or publicity rights,
  • depicts illegal or harmful material.

We do not verify ownership, permissions, or legality of user inputs.

5. AI-generated outputs (important)

The Service uses third-party AI providers to generate outputs.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • outputs are AI-generated and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected,
  • outputs may not be unique or original,
  • we make no guarantees of ownership, exclusivity, or copyrightability,
  • you assume all responsibility for how outputs are used, published, or monetized.

We are not responsible for:

  • legal consequences of using generated content,
  • claims arising from similarity to existing works,
  • misuse of outputs by you or third parties.

6. Intellectual property

Our IP

All rights in the Service itself (software, interface, branding, workflows) remain ours.

You may not:

  • copy, reverse engineer, or resell the Service,
  • use it to build a competing product.

Your content

You retain whatever rights you have in your uploaded inputs.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your content only for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Credits, pricing, and payments

The Service operates on a credit-based system.

  • Credits are purchased as one-time packs via Stripe.
  • There are no subscriptions.
  • Credits are consumed when you initiate a generation.

Prices and credit costs are shown before you confirm a generation.

Promotional and free credits

From time to time, we may grant promotional or free credits (for example, upon account creation or during limited campaigns).

  • Promotional credits are granted at our sole discretion.
  • They have no monetary value.
  • They are non-transferable.
  • They are not refundable.
  • They may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, promotional credits are limited to one grant per natural person.

Prohibited conduct and circumvention

You agree not to:

  • create multiple accounts to obtain additional promotional credits,
  • use email aliases, automated registrations, scripts, or technical workarounds to bypass credit limits,
  • attempt to circumvent system safeguards, rate limits, or promotional restrictions,
  • engage in any activity intended to artificially increase credit allocations.

We reserve the right to determine, at our reasonable discretion, whether accounts are related, controlled by the same individual, or created for the purpose of circumventing promotional limits.

Revocation and enforcement

If we reasonably determine that abuse, circumvention, or manipulation of the credit system has occurred, we may, without prior notice:

  • revoke promotional credits,
  • adjust or remove improperly obtained credits,
  • suspend or terminate related accounts,
  • restrict eligibility for future promotions.

Such enforcement actions do not give rise to any entitlement to compensation or refund.

8. No refunds (with legal exceptions)

Credits are non-refundable, including for:

  • unused credits,
  • expired assets,
  • failed or unsatisfactory outputs,
  • changes of mind.

Exception: Refunds will be provided only where mandatory under applicable consumer protection law.

Technical failures may result in:

  • credits being restored, or
  • generation retried,

at our sole discretion.

9. Asset availability and expiry

We do not store your generated images or videos.

  • Assets are hosted temporarily by third-party providers.
  • Availability is limited to approximately 14 days.
  • After expiry, assets may become permanently unavailable.

You are solely responsible for downloading and storing your assets in time.

10. Third-party providers

The Service depends on third-party AI providers and infrastructure.

We are not responsible for:

  • downtime, delays, or failures of third parties,
  • changes to their services or limitations,
  • data loss occurring outside our systems.

Your use of the Service is subject to these dependencies.

11. Availability and uptime

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis.

We make no guarantees regarding:

  • uptime,
  • availability,
  • performance,
  • processing times.

Maintenance, rate limits, or outages may occur at any time.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability is strictly limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from:

  • your uploaded content,
  • your use of generated outputs,
  • your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access:

  • immediately for misuse or legal risk,
  • without notice where required to protect the Service or third parties.

Unused credits are not refundable upon termination.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Czech courts, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Changes become effective when published on the Service.

Continued use means acceptance of the updated Terms.
